Course information:
Type of Yoga
- Yoga for all – especially beginners
- No previous knowledge or experience is necessary
Time/day and place
- Wednesday 1900-2030 at Cody sports and social club
- An introductory course of 6 lessons
(possibility of Thursday lunchtime class – watch this space)

Aims of the course: Develop awareness and harmony between body and mind through postures and breathing.
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Become aware of the current limitations of your body and mind
- Use the yoga postures and breathing to start to extend these limits to their full potential
- Use correct relaxation techniques to release everyday stress
- Start to develop a regular routine to practice the yoga that suits you.
- Dress in loose clothes- track suit is fine
- A mat, towel or an under blanket to lie on
- An extra layer of clothes to keep warm when relaxing
